2. I'm working on my fitness and I will be ready in a couple of weeks, if not sooner. (if not sooner=even sooner)
3. Many, if not most, scientific papers are presented orally at scientific meetings. (if not most=even most)
4. What one quality, if any, do you like the most about your partner? (if any=if there's any quality)
5. Meat was available once a week if at all. (if at all=even though meat was available at all)
6. He had to perform an annoying, if necessary, task. (Even though the task was necessary, he found it annoying and had to perform it)
7. It was an interesting if unbelievable story. (Even though the story was unbelievable, it was interesting.)
