If

hi, I'd like to ask if the two sentences are correct and if so then what the difference is between them(my assumption is that they both have future time refference[do they?] only the first expresses that the chances are somewhat slight) please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. If we decided we wanted to rent the flat, when would it be possible for us to move in?
vs.
2. If we decide we want to rent the flat, when would it be possible for us to move in?

Thanks in advance

I think you've discerned the difference. The first is more speculative than the second, although both leave open the possibility that you might not rent the flat. Both indicate the decision and the move in are in future time, with, obviously, the decision coming first.
