IELTS_Writing task 2: Planet

Topic: Some people think more money should be spent on researching others planet to live, such as Mars because it seems it will be more difficult to live on the Earth. To what extend do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is the fact that, it will be become increasingly difficult to sustain human life on the Earth. While a number of people make efforts to fix this problem by many ways, I believe that expenditure on research for new planets to survive should be a low priority. Instead of looking for another environment, we ought to take advantage of the resources to find out other practical solutions.

There are a lot of reasons why life on the Earth is more and more unsustainable. Specially, the over-limited consumption of natural resources are depleted as a result. For instance, there are so many materials such as coal, petroleum, etc which have become exhausted. Apart from running out the resources, the Earth is dangerous because of environmental pollution. For example, water pollution will do harm to aquatic life. However, looking for another planet instead of improve our present one is really not suitable. The expenses spent on a discovery are super expensive while we have no certainty that those planets can meet our needs for existence. The environmentally-friendly activities are more and more necessary to reduce influence from human. Besides, the government also encourage the citizen as well as organizations to use renewable energy or not to drop litter directly into the environment in order to protect the Earth.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that making our Earth better is more meaningful than wasting of money and time on researching another planet.
