The supplied line graph illustrates the number of foreign tourists who visited 3 specific places concluding the coast, the mountains, and the lakes in a European nation from 1987 to 2007. Overall, the figures tended to statistically rise over the surveyed period. Nevertheless, the growth rapidity among 3 areas witnessed some disparateness.

Turning to details, in 1987, the figures for people visiting the coat was twice as much as those for visitors to the mountains. However, after half of the decade, there was a slight drop from precisely 40,000 to roughly 35,000 people while the opposite was true for the mountains’ visitors. Subsequently, in the final year of the period, the number of tourists who went to the coast saw significant growth (twice as much as in 1992). In contrast, visitors going to the mountains gradually climbed despite a stable period between 1997 and 2002 with about 30,000 individuals.

With respect to the remaining area- the lakes, in the first 15 years, visitors’ figures for these places sharply increased by approximately 65,000 people and peaked in 2002. At that time, the number of visitors to both the lakes and the coast had a noticeable similarity. Nonetheless, a considerable drop was seen after 5 years with accurately 50,000 tourists.
