The given bar chart illustrates the data about the activities that youngsters are interested in playing in their free time in Australia.

Overall, watching TV or videos is by far the most favorite activity for both boys and girls in Australia. Also, boys always prefer activities than girls, except for art and craft and watching TV or videos.

100% of boys and girls aged 5-14 prefer to watch TV or videos. In contrast, the figure for boys who are interested in bike riding is higher than that for girls, with nearly 80% and 60%, respectively. Likewise, the proportion of boys who like to play electronic or computer games is just above 80%, which is higher than their counterpart for girls, at precisely 60%.

While there is approximately 40% of 5-to 14-year old boys preferring to play skateboarding or rollerblading, the percentage of girls at the same ages who are interested in this kind of sport is just above 20%. On the other hand, there are fewer boys preferring art and craft than girls. The figures for boys and girls who prefer to play art and craft in their spare time are around 35% and nearly 60%, respectively.
