IELTS WRITING TASKE 2 (No.6). Please Help Me Check

TOPIC 6: Families who send their children to private schools should not be required to pay taxes that state education system. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (handled)

It is sometimes argued whether taxes contributing to public education should not be compulsory for families who choose private schools for their children. From my point of view, I strongly disagree with this idea.

First, uncharged taxes for families having kids in private schools can create social inequality. People who prefer to independent education of are often in wealthy class. Therefore, they have enough money to pay their own taxes so if they do not have to pay tariff, this will raise unfairness on the others who are less affluent but still have to fully complete tax payment.

Second, every resident is responsible for paying taxes. Tax is the financial source to operate not only public education program but other public services such as emergency services, health care, military or transportation. In other words, the amount of fee they pay can be used to improve community services and facilities that serve their daily lives. Thus, there is no reason that parents who decide to educate their kids in private education environment can refuse their tax duty.

To conclude, paying taxes is one way to complete social duty. Parents has responsibility for dedicating the community whether they prefer private education for their children or not.
