The diagram below shows the process for recycling plastic bottles.

The given diagram illustrates the process by which plastic bottles are recycled to manufacture recycled products for consumption.

Overall, the recycling process of plastic bottles involves six main stages in which bottles undergo a series of treatments including collecting, sorting, compressing, crushing, producing and heating to become the final products.

Initially, plastic bottles are collected together when individuals separate their garbage in a particular recycling box prior to being transferred to the recycling centre by a specialized delivery truck. After that, the bottle collections are laid upon automatic lines to be classified manually, which eligible ones are put into a separate box.

In the following stages, the separated bottles are compressed into a square block to facilitate the crushing phase through a grinder to become small plastic pieces then washed inside a liquid tank. Following that, the pieces are put inside a particular machine to produce plastic pellets before forming raw materials by heating the pellets. Eventually, raw materials are packaged and become ready for manufacturing recycled products for consumption
