TOPIC: Computers are being used more and more in education. Some people say that this is a positive trend, while others argue that it is leading to negative consequences. Discuss both sides of this argument and then give your own opinion.

Nowadays, while incorporating advanced technology like computers, laptops, tablets into pedagogy are enthusiastically welcomed and highly appreciated by a majority group of people, many others consider it as one of the main drivers that spoil our generation's ways of studies. In my opinion, I believe computers have distributed several successes in humanity's education as its role cannot be replaced. That said, we can not ignore the negative impacts that it brings along. In this essay, I will outline both advantages and disadvantages and give my own opinion about it.

It is easy for people to see the enormous benefit that computers have brought to us. By associating studying with such technology, students can now easily get access to the information related to the problems that they are curious about or feeling hard to tackle. Moreover, using computers while teaching can form an active, comfortable sense for the lessons because teachers can use colorful illustrations, music videos to trigger the attention span and the interest of the students and to explain some complicated or tedious lectures, especially math and history. Thus, intensively increase students' and teachers' productivity.

Everything has two sides, besides the tremendous benefits it brings to education, we can't shut our eyes to some inevitable negative aspects. Because of the significant development of the computer field, there are countless attractive games created, leading to students' distraction, so, instead of studying, they will spend hours and hours playing games. Moreover, staring at the screen for long periods will directly damage their eyes and even introducing several illnesses involving their physical health like obesity, cognitive development, sleepless. Mental health is also affected as using computers and laptops without time limitation along with parent's guarantee will let children accidentally get accessed to some illegal websites with toxic contents, somehow cause behavioral problems among youngsters.

To conclude, I agree with the advantages of computers and strongly support their applications in education. I also emphasize that the misuse of it can cause catastrophic consequences to everyone's life in general and student's life in specific.
