IELTS Writing Task 2: Whether or not someone achieves their aims is mostly by a question of luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

I believe that only people who work industrious will attain their goals. There are many steps that a person has to be done on the way to be successful. For instance, Gregor Mendel who was recognized as a founder of heredity researched seven traits of bean. A lot of people believe that he was luck in finding independent heredity laws. However, the fact that he made about two thousand cross-breeding experiment in peas. Counting, classifying, collecting data in nearly twenty years made him visual impair. Comparing with many genetic scientists at that time, he was sacrificed his life for science. This succeed based on not only his merit but also his hardworking.

On the other hand, luck is a uncertainly factor contributing to reach the target. The luckiest person who wins lottery could not explain why and how it happens. It means they do not have ability to teach or encourage other to get success. If succeed mainly relies on fortune, it requires series of lucks. Luck is a small probability and this condition is multiple of tiny probability. It nearly impossible.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I strongly believe that in order to achieve objectives in life, one must be hardworking to follow his or her passion till the end.
