Topic: When choosing a job, the salary is the most important consideration. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is said that people seek their jobs because of the salary which they are paid for. In my opinion, it may suit with some groups but the salary is not only the element to take consideration.

High salary is important when choosing a job due to some reasons following. First, the higher the salary is, the more comfortable the standard of living is. Paid more money means the living is enhanced by purchasing some equipment to improve life such as air conditioner, washer, bigger television. With a lot of money, people can buy assurance for some unexpected cases. Second, the salary motivates people to work harder. With high salary, people can find a motivation to increase the productivity. Therefore, the work goes more smoothly.

On the other hand, some people may not care about the how much money they paid for. Instead, they may consider job satisfaction as a matter. Job satisfaction may include the convenience of the office, no or little pressure, friendly colleagues, the passion of the field of the job. If they do not find interested in the job, they may feel bored, stressful. As a result, people work less efficiently. Another factor some people think it is more important than the salary is the contribution that the work makes towards society. Many people choose a job for the reason that the job will bring benefit to society. People live and work together as a community. Each of them is an important part so helping society is helping themselves.

To conclude, although salary is considerable when choosing a job, there are some factors that people find more important to take into account.
