Prompt: Some believe technology has made our lives too complex and the solution is to lead a simpler life without technology.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Essay

Technology substantially impacts humans’ lifestyles. Some believe lives are producing complications as it is advancing and should be simplified by turning away technical enhancement. In my opinion, I unequivocally oppose that viewpoint due to the convenience and connection of its advantage.

To commence, technology does not complicate our life at all. Besides, I unquestionably believe technology perpetually clarifies the way we live. Though It may be hard to get used to modern devices, we can do everything in a simpler manner which is reduced movements. To illustrate this, television gives a more interesting opportunity to people to get news rather than reading the newspaper. Online shopping sites enable them to buy goods they want without going shopping as well. Additionally, jobs become lighter as we have the support of machines. Manufacturing does not need a huge labor resource for example. Briefly, the more technology enhances, the more straightforward we live.

Furthermore, technology unites people worldwide. Thanks to social platforms, we can associate with others without physical traveling. Namely, networking sites such as Facebook, WhatsApp permit us to meet up with our friends, family even they’re on the other continent. Media give humans information globally in addition. Technology does not only connect people together but also with the world intellectually. Technology helps us accomplish the truths in terms of achieving new knowledge. We know more about the ocean due to the invention of submarines and the cosmos because of the astronomy development. In toto, technology is the indispensable bridge that links people with reality.

To conclude, technology simplify our lives more than we thought. It is not feasible to shut yourself off from technology without being isolated from the world which is a massive sacrifice, though. In my perspective, I would conflict with no hesitation with that view due to its outstanding benefits of being convenient and connective.
