It is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives.
Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

These days, it is crucial for everyone to take risks both in their career and daily life. In this regard, I firmly believe that this propensity’s disadvantages are outweighed by its advantages.

On the one hand, taking risks in one’s professional and personal life can have some certain drawbacks. If one does not gain insight into their doings and keeps taking several risks, they can be likely much more prone to failure. Obviously, this taking risks has a detrimental impact not only on their work but also on their family, friends, and colleagues, ... Take the example of my friend, he mortgaged his house to invest in a rocky project with a low profitable rate. As a result, his business suffered losses, which left him and his own family a colossal loan.

On the other hand, I am of the opinion that taking risks wisely would bring more benefits than drawbacks. It is clear that one possibly take advantages of taking risks by setting themselves a specific and reasonable goal to aim for. For instance, in Covid pandemic, some goods such as facial masks and sanitizers are greatly in need. Therefore, businesses could likely gamble their investment in producing these products, which can be significantly lucrative and bring them huge profits. Even when losses occur, they can also learn a lot of experience through their vendor, which can be applied to their later projects or business.

In conclusion, taking risks both in our professional and personal life can be advantageous and disadvantageous. I, however, would argue that this trend’s benefits would overshadow its drawbacks.
