Ielts writing task 2: positive and negative situation

Tittle: In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case?

Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?

Here is my essay:

It's considered that owning a home is the important demand in some countries. However, there are other options of renting one that really matter. In my view, this opinion brings both positive and negative situations.

If you are an individual who chose to own a home that brings lots of benefits. Firstly, you could design your own home. For instance, you comfortably decorate and create your favourite kitchen or other rooms. Secondly , you could save your bigger burger as you don't have to cost the amount of cash per month like renting a home. However, in terms of finance, especially young people earning with low income have a great deal of difficulties in owning a home. In fact, most people have to take loans or pay more mortgage to buy an affordable house. Therefore, I think that owning a home depends on each particular situation of each person.

In other perspective, stepping in shoes' individuals with low income, they tend to hire cheap houses for living permanently. For instance, it takes a young person at least a decade to put aside enough finance for owning houses in the urban areas. Every nine out of ten young people find it impossible buying houses. Moreover, unlike homeowners who have no maintenance or repair bills, they don't have to pay property taxes.

In conclusion, I personally would rather own a home in terms of private space and security while renting an accommodation is also useful but it is suitable for some temporary situations.
