Ielts writing task 2 - Please help me correct mistakes - Many thanks in advance

Topic: Research shows that business meetings, discussions and training are happening online nowadays. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent years, thanks to the rapid development of technology, video conferences and online training programs are made available and becoming prevalent in the business world. Although this trend may bring several notable drawbacks, the returns are highly justifiable.

On the one hand, the trend of online business conferences and training courses is disadvantageous to some extent. Firstly, as the meeting and training happens on the internet, the quality of those relies heavily on the internet connection. If the connection is slow or lost, delay of the exchange will be unavoidable. Secondly, people from different time zone probably find it difficult to agree on the time of the conference. For example, there is a 12 hour time difference between Vietnam and the USA, therefore it is not feasible to conduct a meeting in business hours in both countries.

On the other hand, I would argue that the disadvantages are overweighed by the advantages. Perhaps, the most significant benefit is that geographical barriers will no longer exist. As a results, employees, managers and board members from different branches of a company now can join a video conference or online training program without meeting face to face. Therefore, it is not necessary to travel to the location of other branches, meaning that the expense spent on travel and accommodation will be greatly reduced. Another advantage worth mentioning is that online business meeting is likely to take less time and effort to conduct than a traditional meeting. For instance. with just a laptop with good internet connection, a board member of a company can set up a instant meeting with other members all around the world to discuss a urgent matter.

In conclusion, despite some obvious drawbacks, it seems to me that the trend of meeting and training programs that takes place on the internet has far more benefits.
