IELTS WRITING TASK 2. Please help me check it

TOPIC 7: In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that can be taken to reduce the impact of aging population.

It is true that with the development of modern technology, people tend to live longer and healthier. Some problems raised by this and solutions will be mentioned in this essay.

Despite the positive aspect of the long life span, it also arises some problems for society. First, it might cause inhabitant problem. The population of old people keeps growing which can lead to great demand of houses. Consequently, prices will increase considerably, which is unaffordable for many young people. Second, more budget will be spent on pension and health care. Government has to spend on social welfare budget including pension, therefore, the more increasing number of old residents, the more retirement budget cutting. Moreover, cost for medical care also automatically raise due to the growth of age population.

However, there are some solutions that government can consider to solve this problem. First, they can create some financial support policy to help young people buy houses. For example, government can consider to offer some loans with low interest rate to young people who intend to purchase houses and lands. Second, lengthening the age period of retirement can restrict the early retired people, which can save a large amount of budget for government.

To conclude, although long life span creates some problems for community, it can be resolved by a few of practical measures.
