Ielts writing task 2: Please give me your advice on my writing and mark it.

Topic: Many people believe that the government should encourage industries and business to move from large cities to the countryside. Do you think that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

Nowadays, there is a currently contentious argument over whether the authorities should provide incentives for factories and other companies to relocate from urban areas to rural sites or not. From my point of view, the merits outweigh the drawbacks.

There are considerable benefits to locate companies in regional areas. For businesses themselves, they can have a significant decline in fixed cost for labor forces and premises, which are usually dramatically higher in the big cities. It is also likely to benefit the rural communities by boosting their economies and providing jobs. Finally, by moving enterprises to remote areas, it can gain advantages for cities by reducing overcrowding, traffic congestion and population levels.

However, there are potential drawbacks when it comes to moving to rural sites. The main issue is that decentralization from the head offices gives difficulties for administrators in management. This can also bring disadvantages by finding highly skilled employees to work in the companies. As well as this, the companies may meet the threat which is the weaken relationships with their customers.

In conclusion, the merits to business relocate in more remote areas seem to outweigh the drawbacks as it can benefit the companies themselves and the local communities. However, companies may face challenges to find skilled workers and maintain close relationships with clients. Given this situation, it seems that the government should offer incentives to motivate companies to relocate to countryside.
