IELTS Writing task 2. Please give me a feedback and advice. Thank you very much.

Some people think the newly built house should be as the same as the old house style in local areas. Others argue that local authorities should allow people to build houses in their own styles. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It can be argued that buiding new houses should share commonalities in style with the old buidings, while others suggest that people have the freedom to style their own houses in the way they like. Although both views possess a degree of validity, I still endorse the fact that it is free for people to make a decision to construct houses in their own styles.

On the one hand, it may be thought that encouraging the local people to construct their houses similar to the old house style could boost the tourism in their region. To be specific, the buildings having local area's aethetical concept are more likely to attract the large number of visitors because of its culture values. For example, Hoi An which is the most prevalent acient city in Vietnam has millions of tourists visiting a year because many individuals in that city have an awareness of maintaining the old buiding style of their houses. As the result, remaining the traditional characteristics of the constructions may not only promote the economy of that area but also preserve the values of culture.

On the other hand, most of people think that the authorities should permit the local citizen to determine the concept of the houses that suits their tastes. Specifically, being forced to live in the old style buidings could make them uncomfortable and confict the current need of modern people. For instance, families of four would favour the houses are small, modern and convenient over those are large and uncomfortable. Consequently, many individuals should be free to choose their houses' style.

To conclude, it seems to me that to serve the demands of people nowadays, they should be allowed to determine the style of their house.
