It is better for college students to live in schools than live at home with their parents. Do you agree or disagree?
To succeed at the collegiate level, it’s important to have a supportive yet competitive environment. In my opinion, live in campus is better for pupils than live with their family at home.
First of all, students who live in a college will gain more experiences, become more mature and responsible. They have to live independence and learn how to do everything by them self which help them practice for the future. There are many obstacles that they have to be overcome like cooking meals, doing laundry and keeping up with housework. If staying at home, parents often do all works and they just do nothing and rely on others.
Additionally, stay at school also help student have better academic success, a greater sense of community, and more socializing with peers. In academic environment, pupils have more time to spend for learning and could avoid social evils. If they have problem with homework, it is easy to exchange with classmates or teachers. Last but not least, younger students can also learn how to balance their social life with their academic life. Some pupils also get part-time jobs which allow them to get more skills, knowledge and also better in manage finance and saving money.
In conclusion, I believe that study away from home will brings many positive aspects and success to college students. It is essential to moves out from familiar environment early and get risk, it might be difficult but necessary for preparing the future life.
