The money spent by governments on space programs would be better spent on vital public services such as school and hospitals. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Generally Speaking, the government real concern about science and do more research about knowledge around us. At the same time, it is really important to government have to develop the services to the citizens, and give a good life. However, some filed in science need a lot of time and have a big budget to cover it. Some authorities afraid that will affect on spending a public service, and also it's worth it to spend it on service in the country more than science project such as space programs.
In one hand, the money was spent by the government on space programs have a long way to achieving and high budget. Research on space was needed a lot of cooperative to manage to it and need a lot of ebullient. For example, the group of scientists needs at least five years to get an acceptable result and puts their evidence on paper and published. So that some individuals think that, spending plenty of money on space programs are a huge risk and less worth. I believe that spending more on developing public life for citizens more worth it and benefits for society and people as well.
On the other hand, there are many advantages to the government to spend on public service. For instance, building a huge infrastructure to make transport much easier. Also building a care center in a small village, because some local people have a long journey to get the hospital. Hence, they believe the government should prove better public services to people.
In conclusion, after a careful analysis of both point views, I believe that part of the budget to spend on the public service more worth than spent on space programs.
