It is considered that people taking up their career in early age, and keep maintaining it for a long period may experience greater career fulfilment than those who switch their job regularly. Although both kinds of groups have their own advantages, I believe that relentless pursuing one career would bring more benefits.

Granted, by changing occupation, people would get to explore various types of jobs and widen their circle of friends. Indeed, nowadays people seem to be under pressure to deal with the high-stress level and an increased workload in workplaces. Hence, instead of having a steady job, many youngsters have a propensity to switch their job as it gives them an opportunity to get a new lease of life and build up their social network. My uncle, for example, has changed his job a number of times, thus, he has many friends from all manner, and acquire a wide knowledge of various areas.

However, people usually change their career rarely gain in-depth knowledge and profound experience about their job, and this is detrimental to their employee prospect. Admittedly, people switch job regularly need more time to adapt to the new environment, so they often find it hard to understand and handle the task of their job immediately. Hence, they would not have a chance to climb up on the ladder as well as raising their salaries. Furthermore, because the labour market is increasingly competitive, if individuals give up their occupations, they might be unemployment. Therefore, people remaining on a particular career path gain more job satisfaction than those who usually change their job.

In conclusion, although occupation switch might offer employee benefits, I believe that people who stick to their job are likely to get more job satisfaction and secure a better livelihood.
