Using social networking platforms to interact with people is becoming more ubiquitous. Thus, it is frequently thought that gathering in person is supplanting from meeting by social media. In my perspective, interacting via the internet may be disadvantageous in some aspects. However, I somewhat presuppose its benefits outweigh that.

To commence with, critics usually point out the drawbacks of networking platforms. As the technology era comes, people more and more opt to socialize through the internet and refrain to interact face to face. It drives a detrimental impact on the users’ well-being. To exemplify this, addicts who indulge in it compulsively may have mental problems like isolation, depression and they will end up with spectacles inevitably as they spend hours over hours seeing the digital screens. Furthermore, inauthentic information from fraud and scams motivation is always feasible, let alone hacking and virus issue which menaces your data’s security. In short, social media may be hazardous for your welfare.

On the other hand, in spite of those aforesaid drawbacks, social media give a lot of advantages as we use it wisely. One must be mentioned is the convenience of these platforms. People do not need to travel physically as they want to associate with others. To illustrate this, with a few effortless clicks friends can assemble while they are at their homes. Moreover, It even does not cost any to obtain a place. For instance, conferences or meetings between co-workers can modestly be organized without paying for facility and moving fees. To summarize, people can arrange their schedules flexibly and save money and movement with social media.

In conclusion, social media not only able to take users to be on the razor’s edge, but also give us a fruitful convenience. In my opinion, despite its danger, I unequivocally believe the advantage in terms of communication overshadows that.
