With the development of modern society is the loss of traditional ways of life. Is it important to keep our traditional ways of life? How can this be achieved?

Nowadays, the disappearance of traditional lifestyles is considered to result from modernization. Protecting conventional ways of living is crucial as they could bring a wide range of benefits to a nation and its citizens, and measures should be put into practice to make it possible.

It is necessary for countries to preserve their traditional ways of living for several reasons. To begin with, traditional lifestyles are a direct link to national cultures and customs, which are considered to be a treasure that we inherit from our ancestors. In fact, people follow all ancestral behavior from simple activities such as the way they eat to more complicated ones such as how they celebrate the sacred rituals, and this creates their own cultural identity, which distinguishes them from the others. This means that retaining traditions can help people, especially the young, in establishing a strong identity, taking pride in their origins, and treasuring the life they have today. Also, if these customs are not protected carefully, it will lead to the loss of national identity and even a civilization eventually. Besides, keeping traditional lifestyles is beneficial to both the nation's economy, and the tourists they attract by offering cultural experiences. In fact, travelers will get a deeper insight into the culture by immersing themselves in the local community while countries will gain an opportunity to generate large revenues, and to promote their heritage at the same time.

There are methods that should be used to keep traditions alive and help them to endure, and education is the most important key. It is obvious that people should be made aware of the importance of keeping traditional lifestyles, particularly youngsters. In the beginning, families play a significant role in instilling cultural and traditional values into children at a young age. Parents can encourage children to learn more from their grandparents, or spend time teaching them about family traditions. Additionally, at school, students should be educated in regard to local ways of living as a form of a compulsory subject or extracurricular activity. Finally, the authorities can conduct awareness programs for promoting these values among different sections of society.

In conclusion, conventional lifestyles often encompass traditional values, knowledge of the natural world, and economic advantages that must not be lost. There is a need for a better education system which can help people to access more knowledge of traditions, and all members of society should participate actively in order to achieve this.
