IELTS Writing Task 2 about Technology

Topic: Modern technology now allows rapid and uncontrolled access to an exchange of information. Far from being beneficial, this is a danger to our societies. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

New communication technologies help us access to rapidly information around the world. While there are several advantages to advertise, I believe that overall the drawbacks are more significant to the community.
On the other hand, the digital age has several benefits. First, modern technology narrow the gap between people in a country and people in another country. When technology is undeveloped, several associate companies must organize face-to-face meetings. Nowadays, that firms can interact with other through their computers thanks to video calls and some significant work are solved rapidly. My sisters’ company is an example. Her company cooperated with an overseas food provider and they can meet through the network services such as Skype to discuss price product or the quality of products. Second, artificial intelligence makes a change the approach work. It helps us lots of specialization work such as packaging products and transportation. Digital generation makes a valuable contribution for a decreased expense of a company. For example, Foxconn which an assembly company used 60,000 robots to provide for their production line.
On the other hand, I argue that despite these advantages, I believe that modern technology has some negative side-effects. First, machine intelligence has a negative effect on the workforce in society. Several factories will buy robots or automatic line to replace people. The key decision on this action is cut off expense such as salaries’ worker and some insurances expense. It makes many people lose work. Even those have a burden for the government about unemployment insurance. Second, more and more people become a virtual person in the social network services like Facebook or Instagram. Digital services make isolating people and discouraging real interactions. Some people choose to make friends online and find real friendship. It is a poor substitute for real relationship.
In conclusion, innovations in technology have paved the way for the economic growth of many countries in the world but it impacts could lead to the negative influence on some people.
