In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only people traveling inside these vehicles will be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

It is undeniable that the future transport will be driven not by humans, people will be its passengers. This trend would create certain benefits but there will also be some drawbacks. As far as I am concerned, the negative aspect of this issue outweigh its positive feature. This essay will discuss both the merit and shortcoming of this trend and the reason for my opinion.

First of all, it is worth considering that driverless means of transportation can tackle the grave problem of accidents made by careless drivers. The automatic system not only can help human calculate and show the passengers the fastest way for their arrival but also declines the error made by the driver. As evidence, when you use a normal taxi you will have to spend 30 minutes going to work in addition, if there are some traffic congestions you will have to use more time for driving to work. Meanwhile, if you use a driverless car, the car will show you which road is shortest and not crowded and take you to work in the shortest time.

On the contrary, the increase in automatic transport can trigger an alarming problem belonging to work opportunities. In the past, the city needed 300.000 thousand drivers to make sure that the transport system can run normally in present, the appearance of driverless sorts of transportation can be the key factor influencing the lack of driving vacancy. What is mentioning is that a lot of inhabitants can not have jobs and can poses a high proportion of jobless people.

Ultimately, the rise of automatic transportation can bring about certain plus point, but its drawbacks should not be overlooked. Given these points, the disadvantages of this trend outweigh the advantages, so I disagree with this issue.
