Extreme sports such as sky diving and skiing are very dangerous and should be banned.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

Some sports could be life-threatening to players, which is why they should no longer be available for people to play. I personally disagree with this viewpoint.

To begin with, extreme sports are not as dangerous as people normally perceive. First, players of those kinds of sports are often secured with numbers of safe and modern equipment, ensuring that there would be nothing which could pose a threat to their lives. For instance, when doing skydiving, people usually put on specialized clothes to protect them from turbulence and high air pressure, and a parachute to make people float in the air. Second, those who play extreme sports would undergo an extensive and advanced training program under the supervision of professionals. This would reduce the likelihood of unwanted mishaps.

Furthermore, I believe such it could be wrong and impossible to introduce banning regulations on extreme sports. We should freely decide how we spend our spare time as it is our right to make decisions on our own; as long as we understand how risky those extreme sports are. Additionally, there are millions of adventurous and risk-seeking people, which makes the banning regulations on extreme sports of each individual impractical to control. It is unbelievable to imagine, for instance, that police pursue climbers on the top of the mountains.

In conclusion, there has been an increase in the numbers of extreme sports recently, and it is suggested that the government should impose strict regulations on those dangerous sports. I believe that those sports are safe-ensured and should not be banned.
