The Internet has dramatically altered our lives over the past few decades. Although some of these changes have been negative, the overall effect of this technology has been positive.

What are your opinions on this?

Modern days have greatly changed thank to the invention of Internet. Yet, whenever a new technology come to live it is not immediately approved by society. But rather the general reaction is that people will judge whether or not its practical use will outweigh its drawbacks. In this argument, there are two essential benefits of the Internet that cannot be disclaimed.

The first Internet’ s important role is that it is a useful means of communication. It takes superior advantages comparing to the ways people contact through telephone or hand-writing mail. With only a computer and an Internet access you can chat freely with your friends and relatives via chat programs like MSN or social websites such as Facebook. There are people argues that children may get addicted to this kind of always-connecting mindset and lose touch with the reality. However, with a logical self-restraint the Internet will not be a world’s new drug but a useful tool to human.

Not only that, as the Internet has enable most of people to take hand over various information, it also give a sense of equal opportunity among our users. In earlier times, a handful number of aristocracy keeps valuable information to themselves, and there is no way for the ordinary to know about what important achievements have been made. But when the Internet being popular, any civilians can self-educated themselves or explore what they want to know. Although there are a lot of dangerous material such as dark webs but if everyone be warned about their harmful influences there will be less to be afraid of.

In conclusion, I endorse again that the Internet has played a significant role in daily life because of its influence on communication and the flow of information.
