Topic: We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned with our own communities and countries.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement?

It is undeniable fact that we are unable to provide helps to all of the people that need all over the world owing to the limitation of the resources. However, I partly agree with the statement, and I think we should help as many people as we can.

On the one hand, there are some good reasons that people just prioritize local charity. In term of immediate support, assists like foods, clothes for the poor who live in the harsh condition is quickly delivered so that they have not to wait so long thus having stuff to maintain their life. In terms of human development of a certain country, providing aid inside the nation is a good way to enhance the average human living standard which boosts the competitiveness overs other countries.

On the other hand, we should support those who live beyond our national border, depending on particular cases. There are thousands of people, for example, suffer from homelessness and impoverishment in Nepal due to the disastrous earthquake that the Nepal government alone are impossible to solve. Hence, individuals should take responsibility to find solutions and join hands to help the country survive after the tragedy. Moreover, aiding oversea also tights the relationship between countries which are so different from races, cultures.

By way of conclusion, although it is impossible to allocate resources for all the needy, I would contend that people should support people in other countries in some situations.
