IELTS Writing task 2

Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn news. However, others believe that they can learn news better through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion?

It is considered by some that news can be learned most efectively by reading newspaper, while others believe that it is better to learn news through other media. In my opinion, i personally argue that other media is the best choice for learning news.

There are a number of reasons why people believe that articles are better than other media. The main reason is newspapers are issued everyday and the informations from those always be believable and catch up the trend at present time. For example, a football match which was taken place yesterday can be the main content of today topic in the newspaper’s first page. So, through reading newspapers, people would have more time to think about the academic words in the articles.

From an individual perspective, i think that other media such as televisions are more convenient for people to learn news. We can not only watch the pictures involve to the knowledges but can also listen to the scripts, so it would be more interesting. Moreover, when using television, we have not to pay money to buy news. We can learn any news for free and because of this, we can save so much money instead of buying newspapers everyday. Although it is good when learning news by newspapers, I prefer learning news through televisions than articles. So, if i had to choose between two these forms, it would be other media.

In conclusion, i believe that both arguments have their merits, I personally concern that learning by using other media is better than using articles.
