TOPIC: Some people think the best way to increase the road safety is to increase the minimum legal age for driving cars or riding motorbikes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

More and more people are concerning about the resolutions to reduce death toll of traffic accidents. While some citizens argue that it it the most workable to higher age limit for driving cars or riding motorbikes, I do not completely agree with this policy.

There are a large number of reasons why restricting the minimum legal age for taking part in traffic is not the most pratical method. Firstly, it is clear that legal drivers are over the age of 18. This means that they are mature enough to control the vehicles without any hesitation. In addition, numerous adults drives more carelessly than the young do; therefore, the main cause of road accidents is probably not rooted from the age of those operating the vehicles. Secondly, This policy puts youngsters into the disadvantages. Obviously, young people have to travel to work or commute to educational institutions with far distance on a regular basis, which would be a challenging problem without having personal means of transports.

I would argue that there are much better methods which deserve the topmost attention of the government and individuals . The initial resolution is that people have to raise their awareness of driving more carefully so that they are likely to contribute to the decrease of mortality rate of road accidents. Furthermore, it is vital that governments should spend more budgets on improving the quality of roads, erecting traffic signs on every corner of streets.

In conclusion, I do not believe that increasing the minimum legal age of car driving or motorbikes riding is the best approach to enhance the road safety. Governments and each citizen should come up with other resolutions to address the increasing of road accidents.
