Topic: Inventors are not as important to society as doctors

To what extent do you agree with this statement?

My essay:

Inventors are creative people who develop new ideas and products, whereas doctors are specialists who make us feel better when we are ill. I believe that both types of people are important to society, but in different ways.

To begin with, in the modern society, inventors have an enormous impact on our lives. There have been a lot of great inventions that are crucial to human being's development, including the many helpful machine and equipment. Moreover, inventors created a new step, which brought us to a different world-the world of development and modernization. People receive more convenience, profession and gradually satisfy with their high-quality demands. Secondly, inventors have numerous abilities to invent the smart device to support medicine.

On the other hand, doctors also save people life when we got a disease. They train for many years and they develop the knowledge and skills that ordinary people do not have. When they get any problem with their health, they always need the cure from doctors to get over it and to be healthy. Moreover, doctors have to spend a long and hard time studying and practicing to be able to tell us what medicine to take to treat our disease and illness.

We also believe that many inventions which had been discovered by the inventors become the references for the doctors. So, we have never forgotten the great effort of doctors in breaking the illness and bring the health for citizens. Sometimes, doctors are also inventors.

In conclusion, both inventors and doctors are equally important. They both have dedicated many great works to contribute to the development of our society.
