People living in large cities today face many problems in their everyday life. What are these problems? Should governments encourage people to move to smaller regional towns?
There is no doubt that the development of the modern world leads to the explosion of the urban areas. However, it also comes out massive challenges which governments should have the solution for this. I suppose that governments should take some suitable policies to encourage their citizens to live up in smaller local towns.
There are three main difficulties that the people living in big cities are facing nowadays. Firstly, the environmental pollution is raising a concern when most big companies normally choose large cities to place their factory. For example, there are many small factories in the center of the HCM city, Vietnam, as well as some industrial zones, are located around the outskirts of the cities. Secondly, the terrible growth rate of the population at urban areas could cause the noise pollution. That could not only be harmful to the health of workers but also one of children and elders. Finally, it is true that that development growth of the road infrastructure cannot catch up with the increase in the number of vehicles. So that, the traffic jam always happen at rush hours.
To solve these problems above, governments should take some steps to the incentive for people in the urban areas to transfer to the rural or even suburb areas. One of the most appropriate policies supports the jobs for immigrants in their hometowns because most people living in the big cities are from other provinces, especially fresh students. In addition, while the strengthens in large cities are financial, banking, technological, economic sectors, the ones in other places are agriculture such as cultivation, livestock, and fisheries fields. Therefore, governments should facilitate for farmers to develop their career such as subsidizing rice, fertilizer, cattle food price.
In conclusion, pollution, noise, and traffic jam circumstances always remain in the modern cities as the consequences of the rapid development. So, the incentive for the urban people to moving to smaller places is the emergency that governments should take.
There is no doubt that the industrialisation and development of the modern world leads have led to the population explosio ns of the in many urban areas. However, it also comes out massive that presents numerous challenges which governments need to address. should have the solution for this.
