Ielts writing task 2

Nowadays, citizen's health and education are the most important. Some argue that the government is responsible for paying the fees for their people. However, some believe that individuals must take control of their own health and learning process.
First, as people have paid taxes and other kinds of fees to the government, it is understandable that people require the government to provide standard medical care and decent educational programs and pay for it as well. Having many educated and healthy residents brings many benefits for the government as they are the main factors in nation's economic growth.
On the other hand, many people disagree with that thought. they said that it is the responsibility of each individual to stay healthy and maintain their education. It is because the amount of taxes everyone has to pay is different. With that being said, people think that it is unfair when someone like indolent or jobless people receive the same benefits from the government as other people who have to work to pay taxes and fees. they do believe that health and education are the personal matter, and each people should pay for getting a good education and medical services.
In conclusion, I agree that the government's task to provide good quality health care and education, as some poor people may not have the ability to pay, and I strongly believe that it is individual's responsibility to pay for their own needs since these services are funded by taxes that are paid by the public.
