Computers are being used more and more in education and soon there will be no role for the teacher in education

to what extend do you agree or disagree?

In such an age of modernization and industrialization, the existence of computers seem to be irreplaceable especially in education and training. There have been predictions that the teacher's role in the future will lost its value, this matter is really a debatable topic for mankind.

On one hand, computer's multi-functional usages in educational field are undeniable since such an advancement in technology has been evaluated as time-saving, convenient. If computers were not exist we, students and teachers would still be able to conduct teaching and learning activities but with lower productivity, there for, it is correct to say that computers are being used more and more in education to help not only students but also teachers and parents.

On the other hand, however, teaching is a career which requires not only the teacher's knowledge but also their passion, devotion, compassion. A computer or any technology devices can not understand. In Vietnamese they have a saying that goes like this "teacher is the second mother of student" which means that students especially the young ones need not only knowledge but also sympathy, attention, care from their teachers who can do amazing jobs that any machines are unable to do, such as evaluate each individual's strengths and weaknesses in order to chose the best and adaptable studying methods for them.

In conclusion, it is unlikely for teachers to be totally replaced by computers since a soulless, emotionless machine no matter how well it was programmed will never be able to replace such spectacular being as known as human
