Topic: Many children these days have an unhealthy lifestyle. Both schools and parents are responsible for solving this problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Essay

Today, more and more children become obese or near-sighted... that are signals of a negative lifestyle. To take measure to this problem, I think that there should be a cooperation between schools and parents.

It is undeniable that children nowadays stay very unhealthy. In many parts of the world, children eat too much sweet foods like candies, biscuits and chocolates. They also enjoy lots of soft drinks and fast foods, such as fried chickens and French fries. What is more, a large number of children have sedentary lifestyle. They spend many hours sitting down in front of the televisions and computers and keeping their eyes glued to the screen.

Parents are the first individuals to have responsibility for improving their children's lifestyle. They can rearrange foods and drinks in their children's meals to keep moderation in the portion. Furthermore, parents must limit time children spend on electronic device.

Schools should coordinate with parents to change the living habits of their students. They ought to organize more outdoor activities (for example going picnic, visiting museums or zoos) to encourage students develop both physician and mentality. Moreover, the education program needs to be reorganized. We had better increase the number of lessons of Physical Education so that children can do more exercise.

To sum up, I highly appreciated the cooperation between schools and parents to improve the unhealthy lifestyle of children. It is also an effective way to raise the population' s quality in the future
