IELTS writing task 1. Thanks for your help.

Sorry last time I post this writing before but I forgot to log in.

The pie chart compares the distributions of income spent on 6 areas by one university in 2005 and 2015. Overall, teaching and research remained the most important outlay by the university in both years though it witnessed a slight drop. Income spent on all other areas also experienced changes over the decade.

The money used for teaching and research went down by only 5% from 2005 to 2015. The expenditure on libraries shared the same pattern, whereas a slightly bigger decline of 8% was seen in the percentage of income spent on accommodation.

All the remaining areas witnessed rises in their expenditures in percentage terms. The most noteworthy increase was in the portion spent on Administration and management when 10% more income was used for it in 2015. Although starting from the lowest base (5%) in 2005, financial support for students went up to 8% in 2015, outstripping spending on libraries. The other area which also experienced an increase in spending was Maintaining campuses (a growth by 5%).
