Task 1 - Table - #01
The table below shows the percentage use of four different fuel types to generate electricity in five Asian countries in 2005.
[Source of topic]
The table compares five Asian nations (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan) in terms of different sources of electricity (nuclear, coal & lignite, petroleum, hydro & wind, and other types).
Overall, while there was a wide variation in the use of fuel in the five countries, the dominant types are not listed in the table.
As for nuclear power, Japan was top of the list, accounting for just under a half, whereas Thailand did not make use of this type. Besides, 60% and 42% of electricity were generated by coal and lignite in Malaysia and Singapore respectively. Petroleum made up 36% in Thailand, nearly triple the percentages of the other four areas combined. South Korea, simultaneously, headed the list with 48% of electricity produced by hydro and wind energy, outstripping the second country (19%).
It is also noticeable that there was a modest discrepancy between the proportions of electricity generated by other fuels. In more detail, 42% was the data of Thailand compared to 39% from either Singapore or Japan. The other two areas, on the contrary, owned above one-tenth of their electricity to these sources.

There are numbers ranging between 0 and 61. What is being measured? It is not sources!) (nuclear, coal & lignite, petroleum, hydro & wind, and other types).
