Ielts Writing Task 1 (T1.C7). Please Help Me Check.

The table shows the percentage of expenditure which buyers in five European countries spent on different categories in 2002.

At first glance it is clear that buyers spent most their money on food, drink or tobacco in all five nations. In contrast, the percentage of expenditure on clothing or footwear, leisure or education was significantly less.

Turkey and Ireland consumers spending on food, drink or tobacco achieved the highest proportion with 32.14% and 28.91% respectively. However, in Italy, Spain and Sweden, these figures are considerable less with under 20%, especially in Sweden with only 15.77%.

The proportion of spending on other categories was much lower. The percentage of Italy buyers expenditure on clothing or footwear was at the highest position with 9.00%, while spending in Sweden, Ireland, Spain and Turkey was in the vicinity of 6%. The range of expenditure on leisure or education varied from 1.98% to 4.35%.
