The pictures illustrate several significant changes that took place in Australia's beachfront area during a period of 70 years.
Overall, it is noticeable that the number of amenities increased dramatically, which provide a more pleasant experience for people to pay a visit to this place.
Look at the details, in 1950, the main road leading to the beach ended at the car park, but at present, this road has been extended to allow visitors access to the lighthouse. Another interesting development has been the removal of the playground to make room for a new car park that connects to the road. Moreover, the existing parking car, it has been expanded to cover more vehicles. The dining tables and the Pavilion remained unchanged.
Regard the area surrounding the beach, the swimming pool has been broadened double-length as it was. There are two new facilities like restaurant and surf club, which have been erected opposite the 50m pool. In the west of the main road, 25m pool stays unchanged and a new surf club appear.
