Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

These charts give information about how deforestation, over-cultivation, over-grazing and some other factors degraded land from 1990 to 1999 in North America, Europe and Oceania.

Overall, most of the worldwide land was degraded by over-grazing and Europe was the region had the largest land became less productive.

Over-cultivation made no harm to Oceania land but accounted for more than half of land degradation in North America, at 3.3%. On the other hand, deforestation was the most popular reason why Europe land was degraded (9.8%) while it effected just a little in Oceania (1.7%) and only 0.2% in North America.

The proportion of Oceania land became less productive was 11.3%, mostly because of over-grazing. It also caused 5.5% and 1.5% land degraded in Europe and North America, respectively.
