[IELTS WRITING TASK 1] - please give me some feedback on this essay about flow chart

The flow chart details how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane.

Overall, the process consists of seven complicated stages, commencing with the growing of sugar canes and culminating in the drying and cooling step. It can be seen that this is a capital intensive process, involving a number of different tools and machines.

To begin, sugar canes are cultivated from 1 to 1.5 years before they are ready for harvest. This step can be completed in two ways, either manually by hand or by using an industrial reaper.

Afterwards, the canes are machine-pressed to extract juice. The resulting liquid is then passed to a limestone filter to eliminate any unwanted substance. In the next step, the purified juice is subject to evaporation, in which it is put under heat until becoming syrup. Subsequently, the syrup is transferred into a centrifuge, which separates the solid sugar crystals from the liquid by rotating the fluid at high speed. Finally, the sugar is dried and cooled in a metal container, ready for packaging to enter the market.
