IELTS writing task 1 (please check this essay for me, I have corrected it. Thank you)

Question: the line graph below shows the average number of UK commuters traveling each day by car, bus or train between 1970 and 2030.

Answer:

The line graph compares the car, bus, and train in terms of the number of daily passengers over a period of 60 years.

Over a period shown, among the three means of transport in the line graph, the car is by far the most used one in the UK. Also, the number of people commuting on a daily basis by trains and cars grew gradually and the number of the bus fell steadily.

In 1970, the cars were used by 5 million UK commuters to travel on a daily basis, while the buses were used by around 4 million almost double trains at 2 million. 10 years later, while the buses kept its amount of passengers stable, both cars and trains had a slight increase of about 200.000 passengers.

During the years of 1980 and 2015, the number of those using cars and buses had an upward trend when the cars rose to 7 million in 2015, the trains reached 3 million and 5 hundred at the same year, and buses, by contrast, had an upward trend that met the trains at the same point in 2015.

By 2030, the average number of people commuting cars is expected to reach the top at 9 million while the trains are predicted to keep rising, to nearly 5 million and take the second place of the trains which are estimated to become the less popular choice of the three transport with only 3 million daily passengers.
