TOPIC: The diagram shows the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
The maps show the conversions that have been performed at West Park Secondary School throughout 60 years.
Overall, the school witnessed plenty of changes between 1950 and 2010. Some new facilities such as car park, science block, and sports field have been added, whereas the main road and the building of school had absolutely no changes.
From 1950 to 1880, three lines of the house were demolished to give space for two new facilities, namely Car park and room for science activities. Furthermore, in 1980, the area used to crop was then transferred into a sportsfield. Whereas, the playground and the building for schooling kept unchanged.
In 2010, Car park was expended to account for nearly half of the area. While the science room remained the same, the sports yard and leisure ground was narrowed to give more space for the car park. From 1950 till 2010, the main road stayed original.
