The diagrams below give information on transport and car use in Edmonton.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart depicts the percentage use of four modes of transport in Edmonton, while the table provides data on five different reasons for driving cars in the city. Overall, it is clear that the city dwellers prefer cars to other vehicles and their main purposes for driving are mainly work-related.
As can be seen from the pie chart, car is the most popular means of transport, accounting for 45% of the total. There are only two types of public transport in the city, namely LRT (Light Rail Transit) and bus. However, the number of residents using LRT more than triples that traveling by bus: 35% versus 10%. Finally, the number of bus and taxi passengers are exactly the same.
Among reasons for using cars in the city, work travel is the major one, with a figure of 55% for commuting and 45% for business. Besides, taking children to school is also high on the list, at 40%. Using the car for shopping is recored at 15% and the same figure is given for leisure activities.
