Ielts Writing Task 1 : Line graph : price changes for fresh fruits and vegetables, sugars and sweets, and carbonated drinks

Hello. I have studied IELTS for a short time so my ability of writing a passage is not good. This is the second time i have written a task of line graph. Can you check my writing and give me some advices? Thank you so much.

You can see the chart here: https://www.google.com.vn/search?q=price+changes+for+fresh+fruits+and+vegetables,++sugars+and+sweets,+and+carbonated+drinks&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjd36nNr_jTAhWBnJQKHYxBAU4Q_AUIBygC&biw=1280&bih=919#imgrc=brzORkvk4ZkLhM:

"This line chart illustrates the price fluctuations of fresh fruits and vegetables, sugar and sweets, consumer- price index and carbonated drinks from 1979 to 2009.

Overall, the general trend was increase and in some years, the prices sometimes declined but not much. Only the increase of fresh fruits and vegetables was significalty higher than the rise in general price index.

All the lines on the graph had the same starting figure at 65 in 1979 and to 1982, they all grew to 80. At this time, the prices of carbonated drinks continued to go up and in 2009, the number was over 150. Prices for sugar and sweets had a small decline and then rising to 200 in 2009. In spite of the fact that their prices climbed but both were smaller than the consumer price index on average after 1987.

The figures of fresh fruits and vegetables showed some fluctuation in years and in 2009, the price stood at 325, was highest in the chart and more than consumer price index over 110."

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a test to determine your proficiency in English.

It is not a subject that you can study. You study English. Then you take the IELTS test. The complete test covers reading, writing, listening and speaking.
