MY REPORT
The line graph provides the quantity of books that were read at Burnaby Public Library between 2011 and 2014. The statistic was divided into 2 main categories: men and women.
Overall, the numbers of books read by men was higher than woman before 2013. However, in 2013, when men and women read the same number of books, on the women side, the quantity of books still increased although the number of books on the man side experienced a downward trend.
First, in the year 2011, women read about 3000 books while the man read more than about 1000 books. Both of them increased but the books read by men increased faster so after 1 year, the quantity of books that were read by men and women were 8000 and 4000, respectively. However, in 2003, men and women both read about 10000 books.
From this year, the number of books that were read by men and women started to correlating negatively. While women read about 14000 books in the last year of the period, men just only read approximately 8000 books, less than 6000 books.
