The chart illustrates the aims of the US people's trip and give information about what they usually deal with when travelling.

Looking at the bar chart in more detail, we can see that almost half of the people in the US take a journey for business purposes (49%). The figure is 8 times higher than that of visiting friends or relatives. Moreover, people spending their trips on private purpose, shopping or entertainment account for the approximately equal proportion, 19%, 16% and 10% respectively.
In terms of the main problems that US travellers usually struggle, trip expenses concern 36% of them, almost doubled than safety issues, with 19% and aggressive drivers, with 17%. Furthermore, 14% of the US travelling public are worried about the highway congestion. This figure is equal to public transport accessing issues and pedestrians accomodation in sum.
