The table shows the number of hours of spare time every year that people in different ages use in some activities. Overall, people in all ages spend most of their leisure time watching TV or videos, while spending their free for cinema is the least.
In terms of watching TV or videos, teenagers and people in their over 70s watch TV and videos the most with 1,200 and 1,100 hours of their leisure time respectively, which are nearly three times as many as that of people in their 30s. With socializing with four or less people, the number of people in their 30s makes use of 300 hours to do this activity which is twice more frequent than that of teen and people in 20s.
However, teenagers and people from 30 to 40 years old take part in social activities the same number of hours with 350 hours of their free time , while the figure of people from the 50s to the over 70s in their use of their spare time for this activity are only 25 hours. With individual exercises, 200 hours are the number of hours that people from 30s to 40s do, which is four times more regular than that of people in their 50s.
In terms of group exercise or sports, teenagers and 20s still spend the highest amount of time with 450 and 350 hours respectively compared with the other group, but people in their 60s and those are over 70s do not join this activity. People from 40s to 50s just spend 25 hours to watch cinema, which is less than 4 times the numbers of hours that teens practice this activity.
