Topic: The diagram illustrates how to mass produce ceramic vases. Overall, there are twelve steps to manufacture a ceramic pot, which could be divided into two main stages: forming and refining.
In the initial stage, clay is dug from a material-rich site before being transported to the factory. Here, clay is undergone some preliminary treatment processes to form a spot-shape configuration. Firstly, crude materials are crushed twice to assure they reach an appropriate fineness level before being mixed with water. The mixture is then channeled via a drainpipe into a mould cavity and being left there for four to six hours to dry. After that, the hardened mixture is unmouled to begin its second phase.
In the second stage, assembled clay pots are baked in an oven, undergoing a heat of 1,000 degrees celsius. In the next step, these semi-finished products are manually colored and then fired in the oven again before becoming the finished pots and ready to be sold.
