IELTS WRITING TASK 1: CHILDREN'S CHARITY SPENT AND RECEIVE

The pie chart illustrates the percentage of revenue and expenditures that a children's charity in the US spent and received in one year.

Overall, it can be seen that donated food accounted for the majority of the revenue, while program services accounted for the most expenditures. Total revenue sources just surpass outgoing.

Looking at the detail, donated food provided most of the income for the charity, at 8.6%. With expenditures, program services accounted for all of the spending, at 95.8%.

With regard to other categories in revenue resources, community contributions was the second largest, takes up 10.4%. Which was followed by program revenue at 2.2%, while the figure for other income was slightly lower, at 0.4%. Investment income and government grant was the lowest and have the same rate makes up exactly 0.2%.

There were only two categories last in expenditures items. Fundraising accounted for 2.6%, whereas the percentage of management and general made up a mildly smaller fraction of 1.6%.
