The table indicates five categories of transportation registered in Australia in three different years: 2010, 2012 and 2014.

In terms of passenger and commercial vehicles, the figures underwent a dramatic increase with 10,2% and 17,4% change respectively. Stated differently, the former climbed progressively from 11,800,000 in 2010 to exactly 13,000,000 in the next four years. The latter witnessed a 500,000 rise in the numbers of registered vehicles in 2014 from 2,300,000 in 2010.

In addition, it is striking that the registration of motocycles experienced a significant 30,8% improve to 709,000 in 2014. Furthermore, the numbers of registration in heavy and light trucks showed a positive growth of 8,3% and 23,5% change from 384,000 and 106,000 in 2010 in turn.

Overall, all five kinds of vehicles registered in Australia saw an upward tendency in a period of three years. Moreover, passenger and commercial vehicles were the leading registered transportation while motocycles accounted for the highest proportion of change.
